Are you a graduate teaching assistant eager to enhance your effectiveness in the classroom? Join the Graduate School and the Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty Success for an interactive and informative workshop designed specifically for graduate students involved in teaching roles. "Navigating the Classroom" is a skills-sharpening workshop that aims to provide practical strategies, insights, and resources to empower you in your role as a teaching assistant. Topics include Engaging in Difficult Conversations, Best Practices in Online Instruction, Artificial Intelligence in the Classroom, Providing Feedback, and more.

Friday, March 1 from 9:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

A continental breakfast will be served around 8:30 a.m., and lunch will be provided at noon.

12:00–1:20          Lunch (Keynote)

1:30–2:20            Effective Grading Practices

2:30–3:20            Artificial Intelligence in the Classroom
